The Role:

As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our innovative B2B payment solution. Your primary responsibility will be to generate qualified leads for our Customer Success team. With a competitive salary and excellent growth opportunities, this is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about sales and technology.

We’re a fully remote team, so anyone that joins needs to be comfortable working from home and managing a team via company tools. Experience tracking performance and maintaining high effectiveness using tools like HubSpot is super important. At the same time, all our team members need to be tech-savvy and understand where our solutions fit in the financial technology stack.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound prospecting to generate and qualify leads for the Forwardly product
  • Utilize various channels, including phone calls, emails, and social media, to engage with potential clients and nurture relationships
  • Clearly articulate Forwardly’s value proposition and benefits to potential customers
  • Schedule product demos and meetings with interested prospects
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success team to identify opportunities and hand off qualified leads for further sales engagement
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospect interactions in our HubSpot CRM system
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities
  • Act as a positive role model for company culture – high integrity, ambition, passion, and collaboration are all important to us
  • Collaborate with remote team members as needed (potentially at early or later hours)

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of proven experience in sales development, preferably in B2B SaaS or the financial services industry
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with potential customers
  • Self-motivated and target-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize and handle large lead lists
  • History of thriving in a rapidly-changing environment
  • Comfort with working 100% remotely and checking in regularly – having dedicated office space is ideal as calls will be frequent
  • Previous experience with HubSpot, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Premium is ideal
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Excellent discovery, writing, and presentation skills
  • Highly self-motivated, assertive, and professional, with the ability to exercise discretion as needed when dealing with sensitive and personal information
  • Able to pass a background check
